I understand that, but I would have thought the relative power levels where
quite low. Especially compared to a Mobile Phone tower.
Also it is not like we are holding these things up against our heads.
At least I know I am not ;-)

Its the same sort of concern people have about mobile phones and mobile
phone towers, ie the effects of electromagnetic radiation on living tissue,
something that is not completely unfounded.
