Basically that's were I left it, I did my initial research said I wasn't
quite comfortable with the size they were at (or their projected growth
strategy) and feel free to give me a call when something significant breaks.
Admittedly it did help that I knew a few contacts with their major vendor
( I was doing some contract work for the Cisco internal business development
group) so I got to see both the public and internal story.
I think there is great potential in the area they are looking to develop but
I think that this strategy needs to be played out rapidly otherwise it will
be dominated by aggregators such as Joltage or Sputnick.
BTW Raising $5m isn't difficult and doesn't carry much weight without
knowing how/who the capital was raised through and what valuations were
obtained for that capital.
I haven't replied this to the open forum because you emailed me directly but
if it is ok with you can you email me with your approval to do so.
Cheers,
Dean

That is a good point Dean, but still just because a firm has only 8 staff,
does not mean that it can't do what it is positioning to do.
Further in the same article I see it mentioned that they successfully raised
$5 Mill in seed, and that means that it seemingly has some substance to it.
My point here is not whether or not that this either proves nor disproves
that this is a good company, but simply but that we can't tell or judge from
the information given.
Seemingly they are doing the right things from raising, to trying to build a
good team (headhunting good people? :-) ) and communicating to the market
their intentions. I think its worthwhile sitting back and keeping an eye on
them.
Regards,
Dave.

I was pitched a role with Azure by a head hunter some months back, took one
look inside the cupboard and it left a lot to be desired and very different
from the public image that is portrayed. When this was first put to me they
were made to sound like they were going to take over the world (with a
similar pitch along the lines of Australian Wireless).
At least in this article they mention they have only 8 staff
Cheers,
Dean
