[MLB-WIRELESS] Professional looking Antennas

Okay, now for my $0.02 worth,

I have been collecting bits and pieces, and have recently been investigating
antennas. Love the retrofit Galaxy idea because the finished thing looks
very professional - I will be scouting a few of my neighbours to see if I
can assist them in removing their old antennas "free of charge".

I notice that many of the antenna projects are rather "inventive", using
things like coffee cans and the like. Does anyone have a source where they
can get professional looking antennas? I found a site, and thought I might
share it here.

Whilst researching security cameras today, I came across a site which has an
amazing selection of mini-cams and AV transmitters that use the 2.4Ghz
band... and also very nice looking Yagi's and Parabolics designed
specifically for 2.4Ghz - 2.5Ghz.

Check it out at http://www.allthings.com.au

It is a supplier in Western Australia. Click on the "Main Index", followed
by "WIRELESS AV * VIDEO TRANSMITTERS" - on this page you will see a summary
of antennas which you can click on. The prices look very reasonable to me -
although I have nothing to compare to!

Cheers...MJM
