Forgive me if this sounds too simple, but if your using loadable modules in
redhat you can set options for modules in /etc/modules.conf and let it
handle it for you. As to what the actual parameter values should be, no
idea... Does you bios report irq/io values for your pcmcia controller at
startup?
Heres my modules.conf setting parameters of an isa card (etherexpress16)
alias eth0 eepro100
alias scsi_hostadapter aic7xxx
alias eth1 pcnet32
alias eth2 eexpress
options eexpress io=0x300 irq=5
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
Hope this helps...

After getting the prism2 package at: http://www.epitest.fi/Prism2 and after
installing it all, I get the following error:
[root at router sysconfig]# /etc/init.d/pcmcia start
Starting PCMCIA services: modules/lib/modules/2.4.13-ac5/pcmcia/i82365.o:
init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.13-ac5/pcmcia/ds.o: init_module: Operation not permitted
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including
invalid IO or IRQ parameters
cardmgr.
any ideas what's wrong? how can I pass the arguements that it aparantly
requires?
Signed,

Out the 100Base-T, off the firewall, through the router, down the T1,
over the leased line, off the bridge, nothing but Net.
The net will not be what we demand, but what we make it. Build it well.
