Ryan,

The Radio Horizon is as follows.

d = ( 2*a*k*he*10-3)1/2

d is  distance in Km
a is Earth radius 6370km
k is Earth Radius factor 1.33

Subject: [MLB-WIRELESS] Calculating Antenna Range

Okay, someone may have posted up something about this before i'm not too
sure.

Is there a formula I can use to calculate an antenna's range based on it's
spread, gain, input power, etc?

Just want to work out what sort of range I will be able to get from my
antennas and what sorta of range I can get out of some omni's for an access
point.
