I have two Rangelan2 cards and whilst the answer to your question is yes
they are good cards. It is probably a good idea to point out that they
are not any good to use on 802.11b networks.  The rangelan cards use
FSHH standard which is not compatible with the newer standards used.
(cant recall acronym and cant be bothered searching for it)

I am using two simply for the fact that I can run a network between two
points knowing it is fairly secure as most people are now moving over to
802.11b
