using QNX would be nice as a platform for this enviroment as there
are GNU tools (gcc etc) for QNX. but the issue is that its a
commercial OS etc, and licence fees ... blarhg

after talking to folks about smoothwall, and the guy that maintains
it, the open source distro is going to be not supported soon and
will become a full commerial product, IIRC.
