I've got one of those!  hehe.

That is an ex Galaxy downconverter.  As is, not a lot of use, but the grid
and mount can be used to create a 15 dBi beam antenna.  You need to bypass
all the converter bits and attach your feedline directly to the feed antenna
in the grey plastic housing.  It might be easiest to remove all the guts and
rebuild the feedpoint.

Still, a useful and neat package for short-medium distance links (up to a
few km), once modified.
